On December 19 2015, ANHA organized a Christmas Party celebration at the Elizabeth Family Church in Elizabeth New Jersey in partnership with International Pentecostal Fellowship Ministry of Newark NJ. The purpose of this end of year party was to express our gratitude for God’s protection of our lives and to express this gratitude by giving back to the unprivileged: the community at our back yard first, that has sustained us through the year 2015. Live is a giving and receiving act as the Divine Principle teaches us! When we do these acts of giving and receiving, more blessings come to us and then happiness overflows! During the program, ANHA collected goods for Newark NJ “Circle of Life Shelter”.
After the invocation by the First Lady of International Pentecostal Fellowship Ministry, Henriette Wehye, the President of ANHA Ilemabila resounded with a perfect speech of welcome to everyone. In his speech, he briefly spelled out why we came together in the name of ANHA, a baby that was born five years ago and it’s now trying to crawl in collaboration with the International Church…When the baby starts crawling, we teach the baby how not to just receive but to give to their siblings. That is exactly what baby ANHA is practicing today. President Ilemabila, also enumerated some of the Association’s accomplishments: We should thank Heavenly Parent to have preserved us all of the blessings up until now. For ANHA, this has been a great year! We were able to hold an election for a new leadership; we were able to revise the Constitution of ANHA to make it stronger. We were able to re-register the organization with the state and federal government and established it as a non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. And last and most importantly, we were able to open a bank account and create a website which was funded by contributions coming from pockets of the members of the Executive Committee.
After the President’s speech, the next on the podium was came Mrs Weyhe, First Lady of the International Pentecostal Fellowship Ministry Newark NJ who gave a brief introduction of their Church and the meaning of Christmas…
There was an interlude African Music produced by the DJ of the Day, 2nd generation that gave way for people to start eating the Potluck dishes brought by members. These meals were sumptuous, thanks to our great Elder Sister Alice Cleveland. After the meal, there was a group picture taken (See pictures)
An amazing Poem on Nelson Mandela was read by Dr. Georges Tegha, written by his talented son: Itia Tegha, former Unification Church President of Ghana. The up-bringing of their son Itia with his spouse Josefa Tegha twenty six years ago in Cameroon as well as how their son has surprised them with the National Price Award by True Mother this year! Dr. Tegha also expounded and brandished his son’s family picture of four individuals: Itia, Iness, Prince and Inho Tegha, proudly holding their Award from True Parents. As a matter fact, there should have been five individuals on the picture if the last born, a girl was not inherited by a couple that had no children in our community! He ended by introducing a very exciting Book on Nelson Mandela, African Heroes and Negros! Almost everyone in the Hall wanted to purchase a copy of the Book when it’s published. (See separate note on Mandela Poem & Synopsis).
There was a musical selection interlude graced the speech!
African Women’s Leadership was followed by Mrs. Weyhe. ((See Separate Notes).
A Special Couple-dance by Dr. Georges Tegha brought the event to the Apex! Dr. Tegha asked for the President and his wife to open the flow, followed by the Vice President and the whole assembly, paired in two as ideal couples for an amazing dancing spree. Later, the floor was opened to individuals that were single and circle was formed. Each and every one could manifest their greatest gifts ever. (See video). The unfortunate thing to see was that the 2nd gen shied away from joining the parents in the exciting dance?
Call to Action: The Secretary General, John Mangoola concluded the show with a wise speech as always! A cosmic speech as usual! Among others, he hanked everyone for coming and quickly went straight to the point that brought out the essence in ideal education: the purpose of life by brandishing the Picture of Tegha’s family as an example of how we should live our live purposes: Three generational life accomplishments as stipulated by our True Parents. Each and every one should emulate the Couple of Georges and Josefa Tegha with their children and grandchildren living in one living together and sharing eternal love! This is where the Kingdom of Heaven begins… This was a very resounding as well as educative to both parents and their 2nd gen…Aju!
There was a closing prayer by Dr. Achille Acolastse and a Three Cheers of Og Mansai (10.000 years victory) by Dr. Georges Tegha.
More Music and dancing continued for those who wanted to stay and socialize more!
Everyone did the Clean-up of the Hall. End.
